[solved] Getting users page editing permission
« on: February 21, 2010, 08:37:02 PM »
Hi, I am trying to display text IFF the user has the right to edit the current page (doesnt have to be an admin, could be some other user group that is allowed to edit this page).

I tried with a droplet that gets displayed in the footer of every page:
Code: [Select]
nonsense removed by author
But somehow this displays the link even when I am not logged in at all. Am I using the functions wrongly?

How to do this properly?

wow thanks alot. Looks like I missed that place to look for existing code.
And its obviously not as easy as my try above.

Just a little sidemark: This has to change with WB3.  8-) For stuff like this there should be functions in the framework that can be used from the outside.

Side effect of integrating this and that is that wb will be bloated or sluggish

I like it the way it is... ;)
