AnyNews module: open full text on content page
« on: July 28, 2008, 01:42:35 PM »
I have just installed and used the AnyNews module and it works just fine, except for what happens when you click 'read more'. It just opens a new page showing the full text.

What I want is that when you click on 'read more' the full text opens on the content page. I already checked the README-file, but that was unsuccessfull.

What do I have to change to get this to happen?

It should open a normal page (current browser window).
There is no "target=something" setting in the link. So unless you have set a "base target" setting it should work just like any other link.

Do you have an url where we can look at your problem?

Go to http://www.firmaverzekerd.nl/test/ and click on 'lees meer' on the left side.

Do not look at your AnyNews snippet, look at the "Nieuws" page for the problem.

Could it be that your "nieuws" page is set to a different (not existing) template?

It now opens the newscontent without any template.
When the item is opened, and you click "Terug" it should show a news overview page. This one is also without the template.
If nothing works, maybe you should try to delete the nieuws page, and make a new one with all default settings.

O gosh, soo stupid. I accidentally set the Nieuws-page to Blank template instead of the default template. It's working now. Thank you!
