How do I check the folder and file permission/privileges from online filemanager

Hi all,
How do I "check the folder and file permission/privileges from online filemanager". I was told to do this by my server (SERVERAGE) I was also told to make sure that the "permissions for your pages are 644 and for folder are 755." I was also told that the ownership will show as either "YOU" or "Webserver" - but I don't find this.

I recently had to change servers and was never asked this in the past. I have tried my best to find out but have not found anything. Thanks

PS How do I find someone who can professionally help me with these things. My previous webserver handled all errors etc. I can edit and create my websites but I'm a dunce with such technicalities. I also speak German should there be someone in Germany. I am myself situated in South Africa.

not pretty sure if I got you right. You can check the permissions of folders by the script shown on the Help website:

Thank you for your reply. After posting here I found out that I had to do this on my admin on their server.
