[SOLVED] Content don't show up in some Templates
« on: February 16, 2008, 06:52:14 PM »
Hi, I'm a newbe with WB. I just started to check it out, and made a test installation on my desktop computer.

Everything seems to work excellent, except for that when I change template, some of them won't show any content.

I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean.

Otherwise I'm totally in love with this CMS.

-EDIT-
Just tried the demo on www.opensourcecms.c om
http://www.opensourcecms.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=509&Itemid=1&mosmsg=Thanks+for+your+vote%21
Installed the "Beautiful Day" template  and it's the same thing there. No content is shown.

So I guess it has to do with the templates then, and not my settings?

Two other templates with the same problem:
Multiflex-3
Nautica 05 1column

It was because these templates uses the show_menu2 module:

"USING SHOW_MENU2
================
You need to modify the PHP files of your template to call show_menu2 where you
wish to have the menu displayed. Remember when you replace calls to the old
menu functions to use the new parameters that show_menu2 requires. "

I installed the show_menu2 module, and now these templets works fine.

This could be a bit confusing for newbes like myself. But then, this is the first confusing thing for me about this CMS so far.
