Pls. urgent help for customizing multi level dropdown menu
« on: February 11, 2008, 06:58:06 PM »
Hi,

1st: I sort of have the same question posted in the template forum https://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php/topic,8614.0.html

But because I truly don't know which place is the best I post it here too. My apology for that.

I am volunteeraly working on a website for a church here in my town. On of their wishes wish was to maintain their own menu. This menu should be a multilevel dropdown menu with an 'unlimited' structure.

Because I am not a hardcore coder the documentation of the show_menu2 was for me was too complicated. Therefore I downloaded the GENERIC template because this template had a mouse-over dropdown menu which the admin could maintain.

The only problem that I am facing now during testing is that the submenu's are overlapping each other. (not the main and 1st sublevel)

My 'simple' question therefore is: Is there any template or solution which could lead/help me to create a fully maintainable horizontal mouse-over multi level dropdown menu like the Generic template but then with a deeper submenu structure?

I hope for help.

Greetz
Knert.

Hi,

I've just used Multiflex-3 for the first time, and it works great! Maybe it suits your needs too.

Thank you for your quick respons. I checked the template but my needs messes up the menu of this template. It does not work well

May be this could be because of additional addons, i don't know.

I checked the ALL CSS 2 template, did LOTS of rewriting and I finally got it to work.

Thank you for your response :)
