Time limited postings?

Hello...

I would like to know if it is possible to limit the time a section of a page is shown.
I would like to make some sections on the front page that is visible from one date to an other.
But instead of editing the site every week it would be nice just to edit the site once a month and the set a time limit on the sections so they are only visible one at a time (between the dates that i choose).

Is this possible?
