Overbaked?
« on: June 05, 2007, 04:24:19 AM »
When I got a request from my client to redo their web site I immediately thought of WB.

http://www.fishhead.com.au

The result uses 2 templates, 1 for the index page and then another for most of the content pages.

The index uses 7 multiple menus to acheive the menu effect the client wanted as well as suckerfish dropdowns based on classes instead if IDs. Also uses multiple content blocks as well.

Site also uses moduls such as RandomImage, ImageGallery, SmoothGallery, FAQ Baker, Form, Code, Hidden Pages. It is also linked to an existing OSCommerce site.

It takes a little while to load as the smooth gallery uses all the pics in the gallery and I need to try talk my client into using less images to speed up load time.

It is actually a pretty complicated site but WB was able to provide a solution to it. Only hassle was the suckerfish code for the multiple menus hence using classes instead of IDs.

I would like to thank all the guys and girls who contribute to WB and hopefully I will get enough time to add a few bits and pieces my self

Dazz

The use of classes there is correct, as "id" is only really intended for one occurence (as per w3c guidelines) so you did good changing that =) Definately good work technically, multiple menu implementation is always an interesting project. Nice stuff!
