New Motorsports page
« on: April 26, 2007, 07:01:27 AM »
Hello,

here a project of me wich goes yesterday online:

http://www.christian-kellner.de

It is only a small page. The interesting part is more that i use the new features of one of the next WB versions like

module-stylesheets are all no longer in the body

they are at the place where they should be in the head section. So the used modules (imagellery, news, form, bokkmarks) are already adapted for to use these new technics.

The result is that this page is except to one small point in the form modul 100% valide.

I hope you like it

Hey Matthias, came out quite nice ... the only thing that would bother me is the Picture below the menu ... a bit rough, don't you think?

Did you get it or did you have to make it yourself?

cheers

Hello Klaus,

Both, i got the original and resized it myself as small as possible because of optimizing loading times. It looks good on all my different screens. So what did you meant with a little bit rough? I will try to optimize it for better screen later when I'm at home.

your new site looks fast
i agree with klaus cause of the image outlines... they are a bit snatchy.
i guess you've exported the image without a background base-color...

you can get an other version here

@burki

yes you are right, because using the same background color in photoshop as on the template (Web color name #xxxxxx) gives unfortunately not the same color in the browsers. I tried this but you then everytime see the corners of the picture. So I'm definetely no graphic person, if i wanna have a special result a try how to get these best with my poor graphic knowledges. I'm pretty shure there are a lot of better solutions  :-D. Maybe you can give me a hint.

Matthias

Edit:
I replaced the gif with an jpg wich has an background. So now it should look better. :-D
