New website for housing corporation

Van Alckmaer is the oldest housing corporation in Alkmaar, the Netherlands. They recently moved into their brand new office building and were in need of a new website as well.

This WebsiteBaker 2.12 website was built using (among many other things) no less than 14 different instances of the OneForAll module, all customized and set up differently to do what they should do.

99% of all images is handled by SLIR to crop and resize them to fit the layout they need to be shown in. Special challenge was the "triangle cut-out" in the lower right corner of many images; you can do that in CSS3 with a clip-path but... Microsoft Edge does not understand that  so I had to find a very creative way to process every image "on the fly", not only by SLIR but by adding the triangle-overlay in the right place as well.

Overall the website relies heavily on the search-engine of WB. The client did not want a big and confusing menu-system. Instead, they ask the visitor "How can we help you?" ("Waar kunnen we u mee helpen?") - The search engine of WB will search and find any information, whether it is in a WYSIWYG or OFA-section. Because every OFA-module is set up with detail pages, the visitor is presented with the actual record immediately, instead of being thrown into the list of records in an overview. A back-link will then take the visitor to the "mother-page" of the related OFA module.

Da jedes OFA-Modul mit Detailseiten eingerichtet ist, wird dem Besucher sofort der aktuelle Datensatz angezeigt, anstatt in die Liste der Datensätze in einer Übersicht aufgenommen zu werden. Ein Backlink führt den Besucher dann zur "Mutterseite" des zugehörigen OFA-Moduls.
