Itemz is working in strict mode?

Hi, i have some problems with module Itemz in WB 2.12.2 and MySQL in strict mode. Can't really test it.
Some things i could repair, some not.

E.g. the ghosts seems have a problem. As far as I understood, the installation should make an entry in the table group. This does not happen. Ghosts should always be assigned to this first group.

Does someone do that flawlessly under strict conditions?

Ghosts are simply group 1 (or 0, i dont know now).

In strict mode, no first entry is created in groups for ghosts during installation.
Therefore ghost are ever in the first group of a section. If you delete a item it stays in this group visible (with italic font style).
Maybe without strict it works, but strict is on many servers active.
Seems no one is using itemz in a strict environment.

Mir ist noch nie Strikt Mode untergekommen. Und ich betreue 100e websites bei unterschiedlichen hostern.
Scheint mir eher eine private Sache zu sein.

Ja ok, ich geb es zu. Habe letztens privat weltweit strict eingeführt für neuere MySQL- und MariaDB-Versionen. 
Ist halt Neuland.

Aber egal, ich versuche es strict tauglich zu machen. Auch für die anderen 2 Leute auf der Welt, die strict nutzen.
Sicher könnte man den strict mode auch aushebeln bzw. abschalten. Der Sinn erschließt sich mir aber nicht ganz.
