Basic example of 2.10 template needed

Hi everyone,
It's been a while since the last time that I created a template, so I wanted to get started with a template for the new WB 2.10. However, the documentation has become
very
sparse to say the least and the included 'Default Template' seems to contain a lot of bloat and is therefore not a good starting point IMHO. Does anybody have a bare bones template for a template?
(Or a decent manual?) TIA!
