Website for a Transport Company
« on: March 25, 2006, 05:03:19 PM »
Hi Folks,

after my private site, I have done a project for the website of my aunt. She is partner in a transport company here i Germany (so beware, it is in german ...).

Anyway, the page is available for viewing here: http://gerhards-sassenrath.de/Content/

Please let me have your comments and improvement suggestions ... (but please don't comment on the colors ... I didn't choose them ...).

Cheers

Klaus

[edit] I should have mentioned, that ithe page is optimised for Internet Explorer. Analysis of the logs showed, that 995 of their visitors use IE [/edit]

It's very clean and professional looking, Klaus.

One suggestion: If your logo on top was made into a png or gif the text would be a little sharper.

I know what you mean ... I recieved it as a JPG and no other format would come out better ...

sometimes it is a pain with those customers. I think their GFX-Designer wanted to make the HP at the end but didn't get this contract (too expensive). So his revenge is, give him the "not so good" images.

I still am working on redesigning the images (more money from the client) ... Don't know if they will go that way.

cheers

Klaus

PS: I personally like simple and clean layouts ...

Yeah, that's tough when you can't get good material to work with..
