Problem installing templates

I am just starting with WB so I need some help, read the user guide and started with designer guide, reached the template part.
I installed WB in my local computer, I use Debian testing branch, it works fine.
I downloaded couple templates Zamani and Arena, which are or should be, WB-ready.
However, I get error, WB complains about the *.zip format.
I see that index.php and info.php are there so cannot understand what is going on.
