« on: February 20, 2006, 01:42:49 PM »
Please see:
http://download.WebsiteBaker.org/websitebaker2/stable/2.6.2/
for download/release notes/changelog

Note: along with this release I have also supplied the latest version of the upgrade script (for those of you still running 2.5.2).

I would like to sincerely apologise for the large amount of delays I have caused in releasing 2.6.2, and thank everybody that has helped make it happen! :-D

brilliant thanks very much :) looked forward to this. I have a suggestion for the next release:

at present we have to download the whole of the new WB from the links. On next release would it be possible to just offer the updated files in a zip file please as i have bandwith limit on my host :( as i dont know which files are the new updates ones i have to upload it all :(

thanks :D great work..

And a reminder: if you upgrade, make sure that you don't overwrite the config file!

You can delete the directory modules/htmlarea/htmlarea (only this inner directory!) before uploading.
This will save you about 50% time for upload, I believe.

The form module is not sending emails anymore after the upgrade to 2.6.2 (from 2.6.1). I rely on the form email function for work i do so it is vital that it works.

Other than that this version works great.

Are you aware that both the U.S. download sites are down? (I downloaded from one of the NL links.) US link 1 shows account suspended; US link 2 gives a file not found error.  :-(

The US1 mirror has probably exceeded the bandwidth limit, and the US2 on still has a problem I haven't fixed - but that is the beauty of a mirror network - you should always be able to get it from somewhere. :-D

Apparently you haven't replaced version.php in admin/interface.

No, the correct version file is in there and I also have uploaded and overwritten all files again.

Where can the problem be hidden?

If your version.php is really up-to-date it can only be a cache issue. Try Shift-reload.

Or have I overlooked it?

I have updated my installation to 2.6.3 with the upgrade package by ruebenwurzel.

The admin interface shows still 2.6.1 on various computers. Despite that my version.php is correct.

Please help.

My update package only was for a update from 2.6.2 to 2.6.3. To update from 2.6.1 to 2.6.3 please copy the whole package from WB 2.6.3 (except config(.)php and the install dir) over your 2.6.1 installation.

Innitially, I updated from 2.6.1 to 2.6.2 without any change in the admin interface (see msg http://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php/topic,2586.msg18902.html#msg18902). Now I updated the installation from 2.6.2 to 2.6.3 without any notable change in the admin interface. I can still see the version number for 2.6.1. (my version.php is 2.6.3

Very strange...
