How to turn stock off?
« on: June 12, 2012, 09:22:05 AM »
My client has a product where the stock field is not needed. We left the stock field on the backend empty but it shows up on the frontend anyway.

What can I do to make stock being mentioned on the frontend disappear?

Kind regards,

Meint

In the bakery template you can delete [STOCK] and [TXT_STOCK]

For info check: http://www.bakery-shop.ch/#display_item_stock

Hi Nibz,

Thanks for your reply. With template files I assumed the files in the template folder were meant. However, can't find anything with STOCK OR TXT_STOCK in there so I started changing other files as well.

Do you by any chance know which of the many files I need to change? I already deleted STOCK or TEXT_STOCK_ADMIN in modify_general_sett ings.php, modify_items.php, stock.php, save_stock.php and a few others (lost the overview) but stock is still mentioned in the frontend.

Kind regards, Meint
