Product images not showing

I have loaded product images in the past and everything worked fine, but I came to replace the existing images and load up new ones for other products and nothing is appearing on the page.

They are shown in the admin and set to main etc., they are in the relevent folder in the media library in the item folder within the bakery folder. Comparing settings with pages that do show an image does not provide any clue as they are identical apart from the actual image name.

I have even checked the items in the database and the images are referenced there, comparing the database entry with one that does show an image shows no difference in settings.

I am now completely baffled as to why this is happening because as far as I can see they should be showing on the product pages. Does anyone have an idea why this could be happening?

maybe a problem with the access rights?

Which Bakery version, which WB version?
Can you give us a link?

When I first upload the image the preview on the product admin page shows a small thumbnail, if I close the page and then come back to it the thumbnail is gone and replaced by the file name. Clicking on it takes me to the image...

Hum. Strange.

Do you use any spaces or special characters in the file name of the image, or is the filename very long?
Did you or the provider change anything at the server's configuration (i.e. PHP version)?
Do you use URL rewriting by .htaccess?

Even more strange is that I have been trying this on and of for the last week. I make a post on the forum and it seems to have fixed itself with no input on my part!!!

If this problem is not resolved try clearing the cache.
