Hi,

I'm afraid Bakery does not support shipping cost according to the weight. If you need such functionality, you have to use a stand-alone shop software like osCommerce or xtc:modified.

Neeed sort of the same option to.

This is the only thing i mis in bakery.
My problem is with multiple product combinations that get over 10 kg in 1 order so they onle have to pay the shipping cost over the 10kg and not every product separated shippingkost in one order.

The shop is almost ready so i don't want to change to an other webshop.

Anyone have creative solution for this?

just do a change to your business idea.

either calculate the postage cost in your prices or talk to your shipping company.
if you send enough parcels a week, you get a standard-rate... eg. in germany from 0 to 31kg it is the same price (DPD 3,90EUR)

Yes it is possible,

You have to add a field for the weight in modify item

Then in the view_cart and the view_summary you need to add some code to get the weight and count the amount of items

With some simple if and else stuff you could add extra porto to the total amount

In view_summary & view_confirmation you can add the extra stuff to the emailmessages

All view files have their own templates in the folder templates

I guess it is half a day work but it is absolutely possible
