Hi Guys,
I'm new to this system, and wondering how can user login to the site without have to go to the admin panel. I need to put login box on the frontpage, and create certain pages for particular user group. is that possible? thanks in advace guys.

Just create a page with the "visibility" set to "registerred".
Trying to access the page will redirect the user to an internal (frontend) login page.

Allowing users to login independently can be done by adding the login form into your template.
Have a look at the standard included templates for examples on how to do that.
