Inserting my logo into the title page
« on: January 18, 2011, 01:27:31 PM »
Apologies in advance, doubtless a stupid question but I am (very!) new to this.

Im using website baker to build a site and I have a logo which I wish to appear in place of the Website Title.   Is there a way of inserting it using website baker or do I have to create a new template (which I dont know how to do)?   I am using the standard All CSS template.

Many thanks
Stephen

Hi,

have a look at the help section to learn about WB templates.

If you know about HTML it's quite easy to modify or create a template.

If you install the tool Addon File Editor,  you can modify the template in the WB backend (AFE will be added at "admin tools").

Modifying a template requires at least a little knowledge about HTML. The templates are basically HTML with some PHP function calls. They are described here: http://www.websitebaker2.org/en/help/designer-guide/porting-an-existing-html-template.php

The part about adding images is described here: http://www.websitebaker2.org/en/help/designer-guide/adding-template-functions.php#anker9

AllCSS does not have a header image which you can just replace, so you need a little bit of that above mentioned knowledge.

cheers
