Hy Burki,

Really good looking design. But you could do this also with pure css. That would be much nicer ;) You have some problemes with the german umlaute...

hi lobominator

jep... you are right cause of the css, we dont start talking about that again, are we?
and the *german umlaute* thats a bit strange... i wrote the stuff it in the code... ä like &auml,... just the way it should be written...no go. i guess i have to reinstall the site and we'll see if that helps.

grüüz back... and happy holidays

Hi burki,

nice colour scheme ... really.

Have you tried to just put the umlauts in like this: Ü ü Ä ä Ö ö ?

without the html Umlaut ... it works at least in the V. 2.5.2 (see wtz.safewebspace.com Menüpunkt: Deutsch - Über Mich)

safes you the hassel of reinstalling and starting from scratch ... mind you, I also installed the german language pack, don't know, if it has to do with that ...

i have about 10 installations of wb running, from 2.2 to 2.6.1 and with 2.6.1 its the first time this happened :-(
but i guess i f...t up something wile the install-procedure was running!

we'll see cleaning the house takes time to :-)

rehi lobo

thanks understanding me :-) "anregungen" are always good!
the umlaute problem was solved with including the following meta tag to the templates index.php file
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
i work on my wb-style... promissed.

I really like the design. It is clean and well done.  But I wonder if it is appropriate for your market. Market research on women's personal products suggests that a warmer and more colorful site with more photos might appleal to more women.

@ mysticcowboy
first, the site is not open for public... we are still working on it
you are right with more photos, my wife is going to shoot them :-)!
and by the way... she is using these colors since ages.
it always depents on the clients you like to have and also the cosmetical products you are selling / using...
in this case we are on the right way, promised

Burki, very nice design indeed. One small thing: the design is using straight corners and lines, but the menu uses round buttons. I'd suggest to choose for either one of the styles, and not mix them.
