SOLVED: Server Downtime Friday 05. November from 10:30 PM

Dear all,

there is a server downtime scheduled on Friday the 5th of November starting at 10:30 PM CET. The Server where both the main WebsiteBaker Site and the Forum are hosted will move Datacenter.

Timeline:

Fr. 05.11.2010 08:30 PM - Last Backup of Server (No fileuploads will be recovered after that if move damages hardware!)
Fr. 05.11.2010 10:30 PM - Shutdown of HTTP Server
Fr. 05.11.2010 10:35 PM - Shutdown of MySQL Server
Fr. 05.11.2010 10:40 PM - Last Dump and Download of Forum DB
Fr. 05.11.2010 10:45 PM - Filesystem verification
Fr. 05.11.2010 10:55 PM - Shutdown of Hardware
Fr. 05.11.2010 11:30 PM - Hardware offline and move to new datacenter

Sa. 06.11.2010 08:00 AM - Server restart (possibly earlier)

During this time the only service available to the public will be the project site. Neither Forum nor Website will be available.

In preparation for the move of the server there will be a restart to confirm all required services are restarting fine on our server. For this reason the server will be taken offline tomorrow morning, Wednesday the 3rd of November from about 7:15 AM CET. The whole procedure should be over within 15 minutes.

Please keep in mind that during this time neither the website nor the forum will be available to users.

The restart of the Server this morning showed no apparent glitches in the config, I am confident, that the physical move end of this week will go as planned.
