How to edit CSS templates?
« on: May 05, 2010, 01:35:13 PM »
Hello.

I have been looking for good free CSS templates in the web, but I found I can´t use them with WB, so I have only
the few in the WebsiteBaker Template Showcase.

First, is there any easy way to convert them to WB´s css templates?  (I have no idea of css)

Second, how can I edit the css templates?  I refer to the news column, page footer...

Thanks.

Hi

yes, it is possible to port designs or templates to WB, please read this:
http://www.websitebaker2.org/en/help/designer-guide/porting-an-existing-html-template.php

There ar also some advices how to style css, but at least you have to learn some css.

You can quite easily turn any webpage or general template into a WB template, but you need to know HTML and CSS. Without knowledge you can't do it and you should have someone else do it for you.
