Generation of index.php files.

Maybe I'm way out, but aren't WB actually meant to auto generate a index.php file in each new /pages/sub folder?. The same actually for every new folder generated within the WB installation?

As far as I can quickly look back.. (upto v2.6.7) This was not done for the /pages subdirectories. Only in the /media tree an index.php is auto-created.

It would become a problem to do this in the /pages tree. You would not be able to create a page with the menu_title "index" if an index.php was automatically created.

Ok. I just thought that this, in some extents would help to improve the
security, not being able to browse the directory structure of the WB site.
