That's up to the client. I charge for the design and system set up, the rest is up to them.

The disadvantages are the websites are that the websites are usually 50% done.
The advantages are: If I had to wait for the client to send me all the material and update it, it would take me ages and the price would be pretty much the same. I don't know how you guys work, but in here clients tend to think if they payed money they bought you, so unless you draw a clear line they can ask me to update their site in a year from now, so I charge for the design only.

My client pay for a "time" bundle with clear "up to X per week" and "emergency that need emidiate adressing and is not caused by the system or the developper is charge at 1 hour and a half"

Nice site, although I don't understand anything of it  :-D
The header is very big, I would have done that a bit smaller myself...

-----

I charge clients for all content related stuff as well. Some have prepaid time bundles, and some just pay by the hour when something needs to be done. Most clients want a CMS, but let me update content anyway. But that's because I do it better and more efficient, as it is part of my core business as a professional writer and editor (that's what I did for 10 years before I discovered webdesign). Anyway, you should charge for whatever you do, never let clients take your time and effort for granted. If you do content, charge for it.
