Bakery: payment received, order not
« on: November 06, 2009, 11:54:11 AM »
Hi,

I've set up and tested a bakery shop, payments through PayPal, but I do not receive any orders, nor via email nor through the admin.

everyting goes well, I can put products in the basket, I go to the PayPal page, order total is correct. I've activated PayPal's "auto return" option as requested. As soon as payment has been made, there is a button "back to merchant", with, I think, the correct link. When I click the button I'm redirected to the first shop product page. When I try to see the orders through the admin, it says there are no orders. The payment however has been made. So I do get the money, but I don't have a clue what to send to whom!

At the bakery site it says this will happen once "auto return" is switched off, but I've switched it on. Any other solutions?

Hi,

wich Bakery version do you use? Do you get any error messages?

There is a problem with Bakery 1.5.3 when the php function fsockopen() is disabled: After checkput via Paypal and successful payment the Bakery site displays an error message and hence neither the order is stored to database nor an e-mail is sended.

BTW, if any moderator could move this thread  to the bakery thread?

Make sure you follow the instructions for setting up PayPal. I don't think you can redirect back to just any page you want. It has to be the page specified in the instructions.
