WB 2.8 RC1 and Frontend Edit
« on: August 12, 2009, 07:29:14 PM »
Hi,

I installed frontend edit on a WB 2.8 RC1 site and added the <?php frontendedit() ?> tag to the template. I also changed the settings (intelligent login etc) at the site options, but no frontend edit button occured.

Seems to be a bug... or have I made a mistake?

Regards

-instantflorian.

Btw: WB 2.8 is great...

Did you install the frontend edit module?
This is NOT part of core.

Hi instantflorian,

First of all, the call should be <?php frontend_edit() ?> -- notice the underscore "_" between frontend and edit.

Second, the only setting you need to enable in the backend for this snippet to work is the 'Login" setting.

Just worked for me on a clean install of WB 2.8 RC2.  If you aren't up to RC2 yet, you should be.
