no new templates in official repo anymore?

Hello there,

"yes", I know the answer would be "why not go ahead, create one and upload it" but I ask the question anyway:
the most recent template in the official repository is dated: 01/03/2009.

Is there any obvious reason for this? Why do not new template appear here? Yes, I also know some of there were converted from other sources and one could do it again.

Have all the people who have already converted templates -or even created one- lost the fun doing it?

I'd regret seeing the project fall asleep and I am wondering if I am the only who says "a nice CMS also needs neat templates"

Hi deb01,

These templates are usually used as start point for designing specific template for your own site. I am sure you dont want your site to be the same as some other on the web..

If you want to design new template from the scratch, you can use this tool
