Implementing SuckerTree Vertical Menu to WB template
« on: June 07, 2009, 11:34:42 PM »
Hi,

I have been searching documentation and forum trying to work this one out, no luck.

Ideally I would like something like the sucker tree vertical menu from Dynamic Drive, I've used it several times before but not with WB (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/csslibrary/item/suckertree-menu-vertical/).

I need a menu where the submenu flies out otherwise it will stuff up the look of the website.  Managed to get one working but could not style it at all, for whatever reason??

I would think there is something in the '<?php show_menu.....' or '<?php show_menu2........' that I am not getting right.  I have tried many versions of both.  Know quite a bit about css but not that much about php.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated!

Thanks

Hi Martin,

Thank you for your reply.  I have had a look at the UDM4 menu and I've been to their website.  I believe you need to purchase this one.  I also read a lot about the show_menu2, follow a couple of threads on it.

I have come up with a solution for the website I was thinking of, had to get it finished.  But I am sure I will need a menu like the suckertree menu later on.  If UDM4 is the only way, than that is where I will have to go I suppose.

Cheers,
Lene

Thank you I will check it out, I don't think I've come across that one.

The page links under Jakob is no longer there (apart from one which only shows css anyway) but I will test Steven's reply and see what it gives me.

I've been working with css and xhtml for quite a while, the problem is how to implement it into wb.

Regards
