Ideas for admin member functions

As we know the user administration and user rights functions of WB are lacking in several ways. I don't know if it's being worked on, but one thing I'd like to see in a new version is feedback to the admin if someone has signed up, a way to easily verify and activate a new signup to membership status (by clicking on a link or something), and automatic feedback about the status update to the new member.
