Hi,

nice work. I like it!

What is the difference between "Aktuell" and "Berichte"?

One suggestion: I don't know, if you have security-news in swizerland, like the german DHV has here http://www.dhv.de/typo/index.php?id=91. I think, this would be very usefull for every pilot. In germany ther are many pilots, which are not registratet for serurity-mails.

Best regards!

Uwe (who would neve cu on cloudbase  :x)

Hi Uwe,

Thank you for your comment!!!

On the "Aktuell" Site is just the anynews snippet who shows if someone did a change or an entry in a news page on this homepage. I use severall news pages on this page: Club/Aktuelle Clubinfos and all the blogs from some club members (Berichte/Name). As soon somebody makes an entry, it will be showed on the "Aktuell" site (startpage).
The same snippet is also included on the "Berichte" Page...but there you also can directly choose the members-blog.

I dont know something about security news in Switzerland but I also have the rss of the DHV Safety Messages in my email. This is a very good idea to integrate it to my page!
I try to install the newsreader module and set the link: feed://www.dhv.de/rss/safetynotes_de.xml
But it didnt work...the following Error message appears: Could not open a feed called: feed://www.dhv.de/rss/safetynotes_de.xml

But this link works in all my browsers and the email programm...so there must be a wb-Problem. Its a pitty...would be a nice option! :-)

By the way....here is the link to my personal page: http://www.freeminds.ch
More about paragliding...and also WebsiteBaker. But its just an experiment...the page is a disaster... :-)
But you as a pilot can maybe enjoy this.

Hope the weather change soon! ;-)

Best Regards,

Urs

Hey pararurs

Gfallt mer zimli guet dini Site. Obwohl, ich han schono es paar chlini Verbesserigsmöglich keit gfunde:

(Sorry, couldn't resist to write in Swissgerman  :-P)

- Space after headlines is too small: for example in "Aktuell" and "Berichte" (ächli meh Abstand zwüsched Titel und Text)
- Font sizes and family in "Events" are not always the same

I really like the plumes in the header and the footer  :-D

For the newsreader you have to call the url as http:
Code: [Select]
http://www.dhv.de/rss/safetynotes_de.xmlgive it a try ...

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.

Thank you very much for your comments! For to change the space in "Aktuell" & "Berichte" i have to change the code of the anynews snippet...i'll do as soon i have the time for it.
And the different fonts and sizes in "Events" depends on the author! ;-) Every Clubmember can update the event calendar...but I'll say them to use the same settings in every entry. Thank you very much.

By the way...I'm already on a new project: http://www.freestyleair.ch
