cyrillic characters
« on: March 12, 2009, 01:03:52 PM »
I've tried many CMS and WB is one of the best.
Unfortunately it's totaly useless in cyrillc languages (russian, bulgarian etc.)
I've changed BD collation in various ways, character encoding etc etc, but alas.

Any ideas?

Set the UTF-8 everywhere. And it will work for you.
All files of wb are in Western Latin 1... Convert them using DreamWeaver or with other stuff.
Be sure that your database is in UTF-8. Be sure if it is imported as UTF-8.
Also you could try to add $database->query("SET NAMES 'utf8'"); to class.database.php it works but not healthy...
God bless you with UTF-8 )))))

I thought it wasn't too much trouble, but it was too much to ask...
