Dots in menutitle
« on: January 10, 2009, 08:13:13 PM »
I want to make a menu-title with dots in it: want to see .. the light or something like that, but when I try (tried with different WB installations (2.7.0., same provider) and different templates among which the standard Round it doesn't work (error: no input file specified)
I asked Ruud on the Dutch forum and he can make menu-titles with dots in it (WAMP)
Server configuration Apache 2.2.8 (Unix)  PHP 5.2.6 Operating system    Linux
WB 2.7.0
I wonder if it has something to do with this configuration.
Hans
EDIT found: https://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php/topic,10229.msg60002.html#msg60002 but maybe due to my bad Deutsch I don't understand what to do (if this could help)

Hello,

do you use PHP per fastcgi?

If so, you can't use mutiple dots (..).
Thats a security-feature/bug? from PHP/cgi

Oh.. I don't know that, I will ask my provider.
Thanks
Hans

EDIT Ruud offered an solution that works well:
https://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php/topic,12389.msg75236.html#msg75236
Replace the first line of code with the second in framework/functions.php.
For me it was a clearer explanation than in https://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php/topic,10229.msg60002.html#msg60002
Thanks Ruud and thorn!
Hans
