Hello!
I have almost finished a new website:

www.partytotaalservice.nl/cms

I'de like to hear what you think about it!

(I have some problems with the textformats. It looks oké but I get a lot of <span><span><span> out of no-where. Even when I choose for the pasting word item in de fc-area. Tips are welcome!!)

I think the general look and feel works nicely for the kind of website. I don't like the border of the site that much though. It has a kind of strange 'inward' shadow, and extra square borders around rounded corners. It looks a bit strange. There is also too much white empty space on the pages, and the layout is a bit sloppy (Dutch: niet strak uitgelijnd).

So personally I think you could/should improve the general design. But the template and colors are quite well chosen.

The texts are full of awful Word code. Don't paste straight away, or even using the Paste Word function, as you will paste tons of spaghetti code with it. Only paste as text, and then do the layout out using the editor.

Hi,

Thanks for you comment.
You're right for the white spaces, I see now. (and the borders of the little blox, I agree)

Do you mean the pagecontainer border?
And could you perhaps explain the Word-paste issue in Dutch? I do'n t understand. I normally paste the text in kladblok, choose arial 12 px, and than do the plakken in word, so why does he copy all the spagetti?

Kind regards Irene

Yes, you combine an inverted shadow with both rounded and square corners. It's not visually coherent. You should choose for a certain style, and try to be consistent with it.

I bet you made an error while pasting. It's best to paste into notepad, like you do, but then you have to select and copy the text again from within notepad, and then paste. I bet the original code was still in memory when you pasted. When using notepad the right way, the content will be completely clean.

Looks ok on a first impression, but i notice a white padding or something in Opera, and the menu buttons are not that well choosen, like the Home button. Maybe make the hover also the same as the Home button, so that it is also rounded (corners left) you can do that by Show_menu2 (check the readme ;) )
