Menu Link Problem after upgrade
« on: November 26, 2008, 09:43:26 PM »
Hello,
I had my site in a wb/ subdirectory and moved it to the root.  Everything was working great.  Then I upgraded so that I could have the Backup module.  Now my Menu Link items do not want to work correctly.

I have several Menu Link - External Link and using full URL to link to PDFs from the menu.  Some are working but one section just won't work.  http://www.tristateplastics.com (Boat Dock section).

I got some of them to work by just recreating the menu link/external link but the Boat Docks section won't do anything.  I have looked at permissions, I have tried full URL and then tried url /media/document without the extension.  When you click the link it goes to

http://tristateplastics.com/pages/boat-docks/common-recreational-dock-design.php

instead of http://www.tristateplastics.com/media/WEBSITE_COMMON_RECREATIONAL_DOCK.pdf

The other strange thing is if I create the Menu Link/External Link to the above and not add it under Parent Boat Docks, it works as it should.  Any ideas?

Thanks

I was able to fix this by Recreating the Parent Boat Docks naming it Boat Dock (leaving S off).  I then recreated all the Menu Link/External links.  I deleted the old Boat Docks parent and everything worked.  However when I went in to change Boat Dock to Boat Docks, they stopped working again.  So I am leaving it at Boat Dock.
