Hi,

I just wanted to put my two cents in.

Here you find a german website about a voluntary fire brigade near Kiel (northern germany).

The template is based on the "sunnysideup" template.

Looking forward to your opinion.

Here it is:

Code: [Select]
xml:lang="en" lang="en" anpassen:
Code: [Select]
xml:lang="de" lang="de"

Font-tags sind deprecated, css ist dein Freund.

Just my 0.02 Eur ;)

the site looks nice and is well done.... thanks using the template to build it!
sunnysideup is nothing more then ryans box with some little changes.

and btw. fire guards have to use red....beate! if your house is burning down... you might see it in the same way.

the tags are ok... i've never change them too! dont even worry about the font size... everbody has the chance to enlarge the fontsize. its better to start small then abuse a 20" monitor with stupid content.

No, he hasn't, because font-size is sized in px. Have a look at this side in IE, and try to increase font-size: no result.

thanks for your feedback so far!

I like that red. It's not too annoying I think. And as burki said: fire fighters have to use red. :-)

What are those tags about? I mean what would be the benefit of changinging it?
I although plan to add a few english pages, so the content wont be all german.

The font size will be enlarged a bit - I noticed that problem. How do I put a font size that can be changed? Would that be the "small, x-small" etc tags??

Old fashioned html font tags are only used in content - because I did not upgrade the editor to FCK.

i've tested on a mac in safari, opera, firefox, ie 5.23 and it works fine to increase the font-size... on windows, firefox perfect but in ie 6, no go... but only the fonts in the menue...
