Sub Menus
« on: August 05, 2008, 06:27:50 PM »
Hi All,

I had someone working on my website, but unfortunately they did not have the time to complete it, so I am left with the task.  Unfortunately my knowledge of CSS and WebsiteBaker is extremely limited.  however, could someone let me know how I could copy some sub Menus which I have on one page to 5 other pages (needs to be place in the same position on all the pages).

Many Thanks,

mrteddy

I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you mean that you want to copy pages? The hierarchy of pages is what makes your menu structure. If this is what you want to do then simply create a page under the respective parent page or menu item and populate it with your content. Or, get the page clone addon to clone pages.

Hi mrteddy,

your support request is not easy to understand, I think depending on the fact, that you use other terms for "things" as the long-time bakers do. So missunderstandig each other is preassigned.

Ok. what I read in your post: your "lost in space" with your current WB-installation and there's the need to change/complete some things.

A good starting point for you would be the "Working with WB" part in the help pages.
A good starting point for us would be an url where we can have a look on the existing pages and maybe a picture that shows what you want to achieve.

Regards Bernd

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.
