And this is my third project within 2 months. http://www.sweetladypatricia.nl

Its my first multilanguage WB website. Used guestbook and lightbox2 modules.

Hi,

I was attracted to the site because my girlfriend called Patricia
Nice site but the menu disappears in the guestbook and pictures  :?

Hi,

The menu disappears because the website is multilangual. For instance i made the guestbook page a hidden page and then a menu link for each language that links to that hidden page. I found this method on the forum.

Oh, so you mean 1 guestbook for all the languages?
I've got a site with 3 languages, so I uses 3 guestbooks.

Hi,

Yeah, i didn't want a guestbook for each language because you would need to check several guestbooks to read all messages. With one guestbook for all languages i could keep all messages in one spot, which is not a problem as Dutch is the main language of this website and most Dutch people can read English.

Hi,

I also read this thread and have 1  guestbook for 4 languages without disappearing menus.
Have a look at: http://von-brauck-stiftung.com
The page is not ready yet, see German, Spanisch and Portuguese for guestbook solution.

I think it depends on your site-structure and the sm2 call.

Hi Erpe,

But how is your structure set up, did you make the guestbook a hidden page and use menu links  to this hidden page?

Hi

I use a hidden page with a "blank" template for the guestbook itself and for the languages I use a wrapper-page.

Give it a try.
