lot of graphic - have a look please
« on: June 19, 2008, 02:08:27 AM »
Hi - WB-friends and fellows!

I´m wondering why graphic- sites are rare - why the screensize is still less than 1024x768? - I made it big.
I´m trying to change a template and think it´s working so far. But it´s not all mine - so I cann´t post it here.
And I´m not sure about the licence - is it GPL or commerce.

I found the original of it, called GT1, with licence GPL - but later I found the same (or almost the same) with licence:
commercial template, all right´s by....

I don´t understand too much of all this things. - But I´m a little bit confused. So please could someone check the template of it´s origin. I would like to give it away - if someone is interested. Also there should be done a clean screen.css - Someone got an idea how to do this in an easy way?

But however - please have a look and
leave Your comments and suggestions.

Thanks so far from Vienna.

Only templates which can be used free of charge published under a Open Source license are allowed to be posted in the WB forum. There are many Open Source licenses such as GPL, LGPL, Creative Commons, BSD ... Some require a sort of contribution (e.g. back link in the footer), some require you to license any derivate work under the same license ...

Please only download templates from addons.WebsiteBaker .org. Details about the license are provided in the template preivew: http://addons.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/lorem-ipsum.php?template=gt1. GT1 was ported from oswd.org by Greg Bosen. The author wants you to keep the back link in the footer if you want to use the template.

This design doesn't have to do anything with GT1. So I see no problem.
Its one thing to use a template _unchanged_ and another to use it as a base for own designs.

And: Whats wrong with a link to the author? I have some of the oswd-templates on my download-site, because they are mostly good and if you let the links there ist no problem at all.

Thanks for information.

It´s not the problem of putting a link to the autor - I just was confused abut the two different licenses.
So I add the info.php from the right version and that´s it.
Good.

Best regards from Himberg, (nearby Vienna)

PS: (Jojo des auswärtige - i was eh ned ob des wer vaschted)
