How is "Page Trash" used?
« on: March 22, 2007, 01:44:19 AM »
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, or if this is obvious and simple, but my measly little brain, although trying very hard, cannot find the answer.

What is the "Page Trash" feature? How is this used? Is this something that depends on the template being used?

Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.

The page trash option is an additional protection as known in many operating systems.

If enabled, pages are not removed physically (delete the file in /pages and corresponding database entries) once you press the button delete page. If you want to restore it, no problem.
If you delete a page stored in the trash pin, removes the page finally without option to restore it.

awesome - I'm glad some one asked that (and answered that) - I wasn't sure what that 'page trash' option was all about

now I have it enabled - thanks!

Hello,

all that kind of stuff is explained in more detail the admin reference guide. The admin reference guide is available as PDF and in OpenOffice Format.
