OFA with xtras
« on: October 22, 2023, 09:10:44 AM »
Hello bakers,

here is an OFA version for testing.
The old config.php is no longer needed and will be renamed when upgrading from an older version.

Mainly I wanted to save the settings from the config for each OFA section separately in the database. For this purpose there is a new button "General Settings" next to "Fields" and "Page Settings". This makes it even more flexible.

In addition, the settings from "Fields", "Page Settings" and "General Settings" can now be exported and imported (inspired by the CE colleagues).

I was able to test this without errors under PHP 8.2 and the upcoming WB 2.13.5.
Nevertheless, this is only a test version of Oneforall 2.0.2.23.7.
Test feedback welcome.

edit: attachement removed. not really usable at this moment.

Ah so this means I don't have to rename OFA every time I want to use it in a different way on different pages?

Then again... I also use customized view_item.php and view_overview.php for most instances of OFA that I use, so I guess this new version won't help me. But it's always good to see new developments on good modules!

(For those who have never tried it: OFA is the reason I'm still using WB. It's THE most flexible and generally awesome module :-)

Right, one OFA installation for different purposes.

Changed view_items or view_overview are for advanced users like you. This is not doable for backend i think.
For this cases the renamed OFAs are the best way.

(For those who don't know OFA, it's a module like Members, Topics, Itemz... of course a little bit better)
