Es gibt daran nichts herumzudeuten, aber anscheinend hast du es noch immer nicht verstanden.

In langsam:
Vor einigen Wochen gab es eine SVN, die war auf 1450 oder höher.

Dann wurde entschlossen:
Wir haben bisher in der SVN eigentlich manches gemacht, das zu weit geht, also gehen wir mit der SVN zurück (!) auf die 1346. Egal ob Mediacenter reworked usw., das alles ist erstmal kreisrunde Ablage P.

Da es aber keinen Sinn macht die ganze Arbeit für immer in Ablage P zu stecken, hat die Putzfrau alles zwischen 1346 und 14xx was es gab "irgendwie" in viel erweiterten Status in die SVN 290 reingefegt, die nun Rev10 heißt.

Alles andere ist im Changelog nachzulesen und dort vorhanden, da muss man nichts mehr herumdeuten.

Daher gilt: Der andere Thread ist daher hinfällig, weil kaum etwas noch Bestand hat.
Es macht Sinn, alles was nicht 2.8.1 oder die heutige 2.8.2 RC1 ist einzumotten - oder gleich zu 2.9dev zu gehen.
Wie man jetzt von einer ehemaligen Revision 14xx wieder zurückkommt oder weiter, das wird nur die Waldfee wissen. Da wird man ums individuelle rumbasteln nicht herumkommen, denn mit 2.8.1 ist Schluss und Finito mit WB wie man es kennt, nur ein paar klitzekleine Fehlerchen werden in der jetzigen 2.8.2 gefixt.

Und zu guter Letzt: wäre sinnvoll, wenn man diese 2.8.2er separat einmal testet und guckt, was man reinbekommt. Mir persönlich macht nur der FCKEditor Bauchschmerzen, weil zukünftige Browser wie FF4 und IE9 damit nicht klar kommen, und die Entwicklung ist eingestellt.

Es ist nicht einzusehen, dass Sicherheitsfixes u.ä. einfach ignoriert werden Edit: falls diese generell sind. Deshalb auch die Frage "Welche sind berücksichtigt bzw. wieder einzubringen?"

Ich stelle den sogenannten Dialog mit Dir hiermit endgültig ein, es reicht.

Aus diesen seit langem bestehenden Fixes eine WB 2.8.2 zu machen, empfinde ich als Verarschung, um es mal sehr deutlich zu sagen. Wer soll denn mit sowas hinter dem Ofen hervorgelockt werden?

Gut, jetzt ist es endlich angekommen, was gemeint ist, das ist doch gut. Im übrigen sind wir viel näher mit unserer Meinung auf einer Linie als du denkst.
Ich weiß aber, dass die Entwickler ziemlich kurz vor 180 sind, und gerade jetzt möchte ich da nicht noch weiter gehen. Ebenso sehe ich wie du, dass es keinen großen Sinn macht, eine veraltete 2.8.2er mit Fixes, die ohne Probleme eingefügt werden könnten herauszuhauen.
Im übrigen ist die "alte" SVN mit 14xxer Revisionen noch hier. Es wäre ein leichtes, sie zumindest für interessierte wieder anzulegen (vielleicht nur für registrierte) und man den Entwicklern evtl. die Arbeit dadurch erleichtert, dass man die Änderungen, die weder Moduländerungen noch Datenbankänderungen hervorrufen zusammensucht und ein Paket schnürt. Wäre Communityarbeit, und vielleicht könnte man auch hier wieder etwas mehr Begeisterung für WB hervorrufen als bloßer (teilweise auch personeller) Frust.
