Hello!

Here is a really good presentation what's HTML5 actually. http://www.html5rocks.com/
The good thing: HTML5 works even in IE6 - though <IE9 doesn't know HTML5 (and current Firefox version try to implement it but... well, I don't want to start a flamewar).
