I think you should link to the homepage of the module (if one exists) instead of a local copy of the file. That way users get the documentation and updated versions where applicable. If you insist on using just a single line of description, at least add a link to the website as "full details" or "more information". Website for show_menu2 is and the download has been updated to a new version.

Hi Brodie, I can see from where you are coming, but in most cases (you and rsmith are exeptions) the kind of support does not exist, that you give for your SM2 ...

I think this is a great idea.
Maybe if it is possible, we could put an optional "more info" link for each addons?
