I don´t like the dark layout (hard to read, too less contrast), but I am sure there are people out there in the web which like it  In addition you should check your markup, which contains some errors.

i agree with Christin that text is hard to read.
But i like this colorscheme an i think it is perfekt to present Allans beautiful pictures.

Yes, I agree with you too, it was the client who insisted on the colour scheme. He originally didn't even want any additional colours added to the site but managed to persuade him to have the accent colours.

Christian - you're right, I will look into the validation!
