password to short problem for users

Cause i thought 2.12 is still a beta. I dont know jet if it is stable enough.
And i dont have a clue how i can upgrade.
And now i get even another new problem what i didnt have before.
When i now sign in as a new member, i dont even recieve the email anymore with the password.
What is all going on, it does look like i am getting crazy :D
It does make the account, but doesnt send an email.
This worked fine before :D

Hm, we have to test it with 2.11, but in focus is 2.12 and following versions.
Can you reset to the status where was only the password problem?
After that, take only the account/password.php from the fix to fix this one problem.
