how to advertise

hi guys and gals..

im looking for some recommendations here.. im trying to market my website and get a load of hits to it, the more the better obviously. How would you all recommend doing it?

I've signed up to google adwords and ive posted to search engines but its not good enough, i need more.. how i draw in over 500 people a day? thats my aim for now.. i would love it if anyone can make suggestions for anything please..

post your site in other "relevant" forums ... but  think the best you could do, is to make a press release first get the local press on top of it, later regional and ... Then get the guys you want to donate money to, to link you ... get friends aquaintances and business partners with webpages to link to you ...
