A couple of months ago I signed up at this forum with a spamgourmet email address. With that email I got spam today. Someone wants me to transfer money. Does that mean you sell email addresses to spammers? Or did someone take advantage of a vulnerability in your forum software?

Hi,

seems you have not "hidden" your mail address in your forum account. This means your email address is public to anybody with a account to this forum.

Suggest to change your profile not to show your email address via profile options in the top.

Thanks. I didn't consider that possibility, because usually when you sign up somewhere the Email address is hidden.
