Title: Modify Generic Template $200 budget
Post by: lepracaun on May 19, 2008, 05:06:08 PM
Hi All

I have the Generic template installed but need to make a few changes to it. i know there is probably some good stuff in forums that will get me there eventually, but need this done asap.
1. I need to change the dropdown menu to a multilevel dropdown menu like this:
     Main Link
          >> Sub Menu 1
                 >> Sub Menu 2 etc

this one is more complicated, i need a custom module written for the webiste as well. The module in short will be as follow:
You will add a new page and select the new module which once on the page will let you pick a few other pages that you already have created on the site.

Now the way we do this is up to you, I found a site that works the same way I want mine to work. Visit http://www.tractorsales.co.za/ - click on 'new tractors' - now you will see a list with some detail headers like
Heading  Make  Series  Price  Used  WebSite  .
This is similar to wha i want, now you can click on one of the links to go to the details screen of that item.
On this page you will see more info on the selected item.

So what i need is to create a new items in the admin, and display it in the same way as these people are doing.

Please let  me know if you have any questions.

budget is $200 for both, if you can only do one, no problem, we can arrange that.

thanks

Hello,

think the module stuff can be achieved with the WebsiteBaker news module in combination with anynews.
One needs to adjust anynews, to display only the image and to point to the news page itselft by clicking on the image.
