Title: WebsiteBaker using PHP5 in 2.7?
Post by: Michael K. Jensen on March 09, 2008, 12:30:09 PM
First thanks to gillweb and Luckyluke for answers regarding internal error and PHP topic!

I went back to SiteGround to have my PHP5 changed to PHP4, but they did not support PHP earlier than 5.

Can anyone tell me how stable WebSiterBaker 2.7 is? It is using PHP5, as I have understand. That could maybe solve my problem then.

Hello!

WebsiteBaker works with >PHP 4.1 and of course also with PHP5.x. I am suggesting using PHP5.2x, because less and less websoftware will work with PHP4.x in future, but WB2.x works also with PHP4.
The system requirements haven’t changed. http://start.websitebaker2.org/en/requirements.html
WebsiteBaker 2.7 is yet „only“ Release Candidate, but it should be stable on most server configurations. And of course the PHP version is  not really making a software more stable. :)
