Title: Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object

i installed newsreader module on WebsiteBaker 2.6.5 (elephante installer by freehostia.com)

i get this error when trying to modify a page:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/www/*************/modules/newsreader/modify.php on line 54
and this error when trying to view the page:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/www/*************/modules/newsreader/view.php on line 38

and the asteriks are just the name of my website, i dont actually have a folder named ********
